Attorney General Jeff Sessions was pushed out Wednesday as the country's chief law enforcement officer, after enduring more than a year of blistering and personal attacks from President Donald Trump over his recusal from the Russia investigation. Sessions told the President in a letter that he was submitting his resignation "at your request".
At a news conference, Trump warned House Democrats against spending the remaining years of his presidency investigating him and the administration. Democrats won control of the House in yesterday's midterm elections. He said the two parties should work together.
