A child from Guatemala has died in US Customs and Border Protection custody for the second time in a month. The 8-year-old boy died in New Mexico on Tuesday. The border agency says it's conducting new medical checks on every child in its custody.
Volunteers are bringing food to the migrants who were left at the EL Paso, Texas Greyhound bus station. US immigration and customs enforcement left at least 200 migrants there on Sunday and Monday.
Wednesday is the first full business day since the partial government shutdown began. President Trump says the shutdown will continue until Democrats agree to build a wall on the US-Mexico border.
And a small plane crashed into a neighborhood in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. At least one person was killed. At least 4 houses were evacuated.
