The two-day forum of world leaders concluded this week with the roadmap for the success of the Belt and Road Initiative and a clear way for future cooperation.

New Zealand, as one of the first industrialised countries to openly support the Belt and Road Initiative, is set for further cooperation with China. New Zealand Chinese Language Week (NZCLW) is underway to bridge the cultural and linguistic knowledge gap between China and New Zealand.

In an Interview with China Radio International, Raymond Hou and Johanna Coughlan, Co-Chairs of the event said with the NZCLW, New Zealand has become the very first nation in the western world to celebrate Chinese culture and language. And the eventis emerged in the context of a rapidly strengthening relationship between China and New Zealand.

When it comes to the economic cooperation between the two countries, both of them put forward some feasible advice for Chinese and New Zealand’s companies which are riding the wave of the Belt and Road Initiative and fast-developing China-New Zealand partnership.
